“Three generations of our family had the most fantastic time in this magical place. The cottage is comfortable and evocative of the terroir and a past age. The village is quiet and secluded and on one's doorstep are all the wonders of the Dordogne. This was one of our best holidays ever.”

A beautiful, stylish and comfortable apartment, full of character and history, in a fabulous medieval village. Beautifully positioned on the banks of the peaceful Dordogne river. You will come, but find it difficult to leave.

"Our week in Berbiguieres Cottage was heavenly. The cottage is a wonderfully restored medieval home and is so very comfortable with all mod-cons and a lovely fireplace for a chilly night. It's a great area for walking, exploring, going to local markets and gernerally just chilling out. There are so many very tasty restaurants in the area, you really can't go wrong. Next time we aim to stay longer as we felt we had only begun to scratch the surface."

"I had a fantastic holiday. The cottage is quintessentially French, with it's rustic stonework, polished floorboards and pastoral surrounds. It effortlessly blends quality accomodation and modern functionality. The beds were comfortable, with fresh clean linen and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry plus excellent wifi. I couldn't believe it's central location, allowing easy access to all the delights in the Dordogne region. Whether it be rowing down the Dordogne river, visiting medieval castles or strolling through the formal Eyrignac gardens, there is so much to see and do. I will be back, Merci!"

"What a patch of paradise you have! I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed your cottage & its environs & my only regret was the brevity of time we could spend there. What a dear little village - a castle, a church, a graveyard, & some peasant cottages. How idyllic is that! During the day we soaked up the rural scene, & then through the living room window in the evenings, the magic of the geraniums lit by the street light. Such a peaceful way to start a holiday, so I envy you having such a magic getaway.

Many thanks for all your travel advice - it was invaluable."
