With the French Festival “Paris to Provence” only one week away ( Nov 29th to Dec 1st) we wanted to invite you to pop into Como House and Garden in Kew, Melbourne, and say Bonjour!
This year the booth designated to "Our Cottages in France" is located in the beautiful circular area surrounding the fountain (directly opposite Como House.) We’d love to see you there.
We’ve had a busy year with both of our French properties and spent 3 months over the Summer ( June, July and August) meeting and greeting guests. We attract people from all over the world and this year was no exception with a family visiting from Quito, Ecuador and another family from Abu Dhabi. As always, we also attracted many Australian guests and it was a delight to welcome them and assist with information on sightseeing, restaurants and local events. It was a busy but wonderful Summer in France.
We have already taken bookings for next year with our Tours fast becoming a popular choice. We have noticed that the thought of driving in France and also the experience itself can be quite daunting to holiday makers not used to driving on the right hand side of the road in regional France. To alleviate this stress, we offer bespoke tours which take the driving and organisational anxiety right out of your holiday.
To give you an idea, in September 2020, we have a group of 4 ladies from Adelaide who have booked our 8 day Tour. This is inclusive of accommodation in our beautiful Beaulieu townhouse, chauffeur driven travel and transfers (with Neil as your driver in our car pictured left ) and in addition,- excellent French restaurant meals as well as entry passes to the best tourist destinations in the region. A couple from Melbourne have chosen the Tour option too and have booked later in September 2020. At a cost of approximately $2,700 per person ( for two ) and a mere $2,000 per person ( for three to four ) you can understand why these 8 day all inclusive tours are fast becoming a desirable, competitive alternative. With over 10 years of living and travelling in the Dordogne (and also being fluent in French) we really enjoy offering this service.
